"CANADA'S LARGEST QUILT STORE... NOW ONLINE!"

make a case
for a good cause

In 3 easy steps, turn your love of quilting and sewing into messages of comfort, hope and love – for a foster child, a cancer patient, victims of domestic violence, and others. The idea is simple – make and donate pillowcases to local charities in your community. Join American Patchwork & Quilting in our continuing effort to provide 1 million pillowcases to people who need to know someone cares. Here’s how:
1. Find a participating quilt shop
2. Make a case (or several!)
3. Be sure your donation counts! Update our online Pillowcase Counter

Make a pillowcase. Make a difference.

Almost Free Pillowcase classes offered.

"Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference."

Every pillowcase can make a difference in your community. A pillowcase can provide comfort for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman, or beauty for a nursing home resident.

"I am sure you won’t let me make them all myself, will you? Of course you wouldn’t!!!  I have already received a couple dozen from you and expect to see many more over the coming months."

Sincerely,

Anne Dale

DONATIONS

Please drop off all of your completed pillowcases and pillowcase fabric to the store when completed. Due to allergies and health reasons, we ask you only donate new 100% cotton pillowcases.

My Sewing Room is happy to announce we have partnered up with Lori's Country Cottage in Sherwood Park Alberta. We ask that any Northern Alberta pillowcase donations go to Lori and any Southern Alberta pillowcase donations come to our store.
